In my experience, the mantras that work the best, are personal, positive, short and action-oriented. They should help you flip the switch on those negative feeling swirling in your head and through your body.
If you are writing your own they help you focus on what you want, rather than what you are trying to avoid or experiencing in real life.
I great mantra should be short, easy to remember, and a trigger for positive energy.
Using powerful mantras when you are training for your next running or triathlon race will best prepare you for race day adversity.
